Time is precious. At first opportunity, I'm throwing a Junubin tea set into a picnic basket (sugar optional; j/k!!!), slipping on my white dress and finding a scenic spot in my backyard to exchange vows. I cannot wait to shout to the universe how much I love this man.

BUT! We have not forgotten about our family and our tribe and all the people whose support makes life worth living. I am going to make a concerted effort to blog our elopement progress here so you can comment (please give me Kitenge advice, someone please!).

Please also reach out to me and coordinate a weekend to come to Redding in the next few months to celebrate our love. We prefer a low key visit with you individually rather than all at once. All I ask is that you bring an embarrassing story about Diadi and a Thuri fable to teach me as much as you can about the man that I love.
